Since ancient times, has the homosexual phenomenon been existing, and from that time has it been effected by the heterosexual action, which has been the mainstream in human's society. These two sexual actions exist at the same time and reflect the changes of human history together. For the specialty of the homosexual action, people who are called "gay" or "lesbian" are usually despised by others, they are very helpless in front of moral stress, which made a long distance from their great love. However, the development of civilization made us changed, our social values are getting more and more polyatomic, more and more people started to accepting this phenomenon with scientific attitude, showing respect to ones who are different .It's been a long time since the Chinese homosexual movies be created, these movies display the real life of homosexual people, the awkward situations they have to face in the daily life, the courage they need to pursue love……which deeply shocked us. These movies not only reflect the thinking that we modern people did, but also reflect the effection which homosexual phenomenon made on our culture, and the attitude of directors and actors who created Chinese homosexual movies.This article carries on from five aspects to the homosexual image carries on reads the solution: The first chapter first is obtains according to the demented dictionary significance to carry on"homosexual"the concept limits, then again carries on the limits according to the pathology and the psycho-analysis to homosexual's concept. Again combs the homosexual image from Western and in East's literary arts esthetics origin. The second chapter introduces the developments of both Chinese and western homosexual movies briefly according to time order. The third chapter discusses the cultural intension of the Chinese homosexual movies, which was divided into three parts—"to reveal the living dilemma of modern people","to meditate the paternity culture of our nation" and "the pursuit of true love". The forth chapter takes heterosexual phenomenon as reference ,only to find out different attitude that directors hold at different moments, which was divided into three parts as the opposition between homosexual and heterosexual,the collision and compromise between them and the overstep of traditional notion. The fifth chapter discusses the important images of Chinese homosexual movies—drama,water and butterfly, which take important aesthetic function in these movies.
