The Research Of Taiwan Homosexuality Movies Since 2000

Movie as a kind of art with the value of record, which not only can meet the needs of people’s cultural consumption,but also can reflects the cultural ecology and the society ideology.Within the homosexuality movies,we can find out the living condition of gays and lesbians,and what they had for their political appeal.Thus make the social from all walks of life cogitate about the issues of homosexuality.Taiwan homosexuality movies began in 1980 s, in the development process of about 30 years,it having kept its advantage position in Asian.Since 2000,under the new political, economic and cultural development situation,Taiwan homosexuality movies had showed the difference between past and the new century in the film narrative and the construction of the artistic image,etc.It also reflected the mass consumption culture consciousness and a new image of the Taiwanese homosexuality subculture landscape.This thesis consists of five parts:The first chapter, clarified the development of the Taiwan homosexuality movies in the past 30 years, divided it into three stages, and summed up the characteristics which had showed in different periods.The second chapter,from the film narratology angle,Taiwan homosexuality movies in the new century showed micro characteristic,also,the creation of the homosexuality movies view clearly presented the gender differences.The third chapter,which is the focus of this thesis.First analyzed how the city as the ideographic space influenced the development of the plot of the film and the fate of the characters.Secondly, used the theories of feminism and sociology to analyze the construction of the Taiwan homosexuality image in the screen.Finally,analyzed the symbolic image in the Taiwan homosexuality movies.The fourth chapter, from two aspects: video and image,that analyzed the present aesthetic temperament of Taiwan’s homosexuality movies since 2000.The fifth chapter, from two aspects:the local culture and the reflect of Japanese cultural sight,analyzed the cultural landscape of Taiwan homosexuality movies in the new century.
