| Content: Laoting BigDrum is a kind of storytelling art with drum accompaniment which originates from Laoting County. With hundreds of years of history, in a very unique sound, it records the stories of the people live in the small seaside city. Laoting City lies to the southeast of Tangshan city, by the seaside of the BuohaiBay, in the Luanhe Delta Plain area, which is 230 kilometers away from Beijing City and 70 kilometers away from Tangshan City. Though a small seaside county, Laoting County has its own deep culture possession and gorgeous culture developing history. The records of history and unearthed cultural relics all show the fact that human being have lived there for about thousands of years and create many unique Laoting culture. Since ancient times, Laoting people have paid great attention to the culture development, which results in the education prosperity, many intellectuals and poets coming from this place. Laoting County Daheituo countryside is the birthplace of LiDaZhao, one of the main founders of the Communist Party of China.Laoting area belongs to the littoral plain of Huabei Plate , waterage and landway transportation are all developed, its rich soil is suitable for cultivating, pasturing and herding. The waterage originate from the Luanhe River to the south part of China. With its advantaged geography superiority, Laoting area arosed the great attention of every dynasts and became the strategic location,and enormous financial and human resources are invested to the development of Laoting area. After the Ming Dynasty, many immigrants from south of Changjiang River ,south of Shanxi Province and Mongolia are migrated to the area, the language, culture and customs of the immigrants and the local people integrate with each other. With the development of the social economy, the quality of people's living standard have been improved greatly, so as the culture and art development. With the unwearied hard work of Laoting people, unique region culture were created. The so called"three flowers of literature"of East Herbei Province ,Laoting BigDrum ,shadow play and Pingju opera are all born in this area. There is a popular folk jingle in Laoting area, it saids"Hanxiangpu's storytelling,Sunpinqing's shadow play,Tanglaozi's trumpet and Shanglaoqi's pie". Obviously under such rich cultural atmosphere, Laoting BigDrum is the No.1.in the local people's impression, and also become the classic of East Herbei Province folk art, and have deep effect on the development of local culture and folk art.But the development of Laoting BigDrum is not so optimistic, because of the effect of western culture and the improvement of science and technology, Laoting BigDrum is gradually far from people's sight. At present, the number of actors engaged in the BigDrum art are sharply decreased, and the actors are all aged. For the effect of negative factors is more and more stronger, few people would engage in this work, Laoting BigDrum is going to the dilemma of lackof heritors. So protecting Laoting BigDrum from disappearing is becoming a pressing mission.A country is strong or not depending on its comprehensive national strength, which not only focus on the economy increase and science improvement but also the boom of art of literature. The writer of this thesis gathered many literature, history, folk customs, sociology and musical esthetics datum, browsed the policy of national immateriality culture and carried out some folk investigation, then have a comprehensive understanding to Laoting BigDrum. There are four parts in this thesis, separately describing the origination, genre development, aria structure to literature culture, fully show the art character and reseachability of Laoting BigDrum. Writer also take some further analysis on the status quo and inheriting of Laoting BigDrum and give some constructive suggestion. Though some viewpoints are not so accurate but all are based on writer's own hardwork. Sincerely wish to have some positive effect on the protect and development of Laoting BigDrum. |
