This paper takes the phonetics of Laoting county dialect in Tangshan City,Hebei Province as the research object,selects 12 towns as the investigation points.On the basis of fieldwork,this paper describes the phonetic characteristics and internal differences of Laoting dialect,and attempts to explain the phonetic characteristics by using linguistic theories.The paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter is a general introduction,which introduces the geographical location,population status and organizational evolution of Laoting county.At the same time,it combs the research status of Laoting dialect and introduces the significance and research methods of this paper.This part mainly introduces the internal division standard of Laoting dialect and describes the common phonetic characteristics from three aspects of initial,vowel and tone.The second chapter describes the two types of consonants of Zhizhuangzhang group in Laoting dialect and explains their evolution rules.At the same time,This part describes and analyzes the evolution of the first and second words in the opening of Yingyi.The third chapter,from the angle of finals,describes two kinds of transference phenomena in Laoting dialect and explains them with the theory of lexical diffusion.The fourth chapter introduces colloquial and literary readings of Laoting dialect such as Dangjiang,Zenggeng group,and analyzes their historical level.In addition,it discusses the general understanding of colloquial and literary readings through Jianjing group.The fifth chapter describes the tone sandhi of Laoting dialect from three aspects: the tone sandhi of non reduplicated words group,the tone sandhi of non reduplicated words group before light tone and the tone sandhi of reduplicated words group before light tone.It also describes the entering tone character of Laoting dialect and discusses the attribution of Baotang dialect by comparing with the initial sound of Beijing.The last chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the main contents and conclusions of the previous five chapters.
