The Absurdity Is The Reality On The Absurdity Of Dongxi's Novels

Dongxi is an excellent"Younger generation"writer and famous for his unique creation style. One of his novel's distinguishing characteristics is rich absurdity colors. In his works, he elaboratively creates many preposterous stories by means of the ironical, parody unfamiliar language, and exaggerates deformation comic techniques, through the absurdity of the situation, we can find it reveals the plight of present human survival and concerns the existence of the real nature, also this distinct spiritual dimension which is what his works possess. Dongxi has been pursuing innovation of narrative, which is not only enhanced the readability of his novels, but also made the works formed unique characteristics. From the physical to the metaphysical, Dongxi tries to see through the appearance to perceive the essence, pierce the absurd and reveal the truth, which reflect what the real human's living predicaments and the ultimate concern, but also make Dongxi's novels with a distinctive narrative ethics and the cultural enlightenment significance.This paper is mainly composed of introduction, four chapters of body, and conclusion six parts. This text mainly revolves around the uniqueness of Dongxi's absurd novels in Chinese contemporary literature history, and intensively illustrates its absurd theme,the intricate incredible plot, and the fantasy language of the novel text. Dongxi's works with strong myth color, in fact the main purpose of this paper is to analyse all kinds of absurdity in these novels to reveal the profound truth behind the myth, namely, his concern about the human society, even the humanity itself existence plight and real nature.This paper analyzes two themes of Dongxi's novels—the outsiders and the Cultural Revolution memory, by means of its irony and parody style of language carried out a series of absurd stories, explores the relationship between absurdity and the real situation of human existence, thus reveals absurdity and reality are inseparable, to clarify the plight of nowadays human existence and the ultimate care, as well as his novels possess a unique literary value and practical significance.
