Tong Yin Zi Bian is the book reflected in the sound of Phonology reading books, edited by Qing Liu Weifang on the Qing dynasty, Twenty-nine years of Emperor Daoguang (1849).Many studies have conducted on his carving afterwards, but few people concerns about Tong Yin Zi Bian. I believe that studies should be made on this book more in-depth, comprehensive, in order to make everyone have a better understanding of it and to locate its proper position in the history of modern Chinese phonology.Tong Yin Zi Bian is edited on the basis of the compilation of Pei Wei Shi Yun and the Zhong Zhou Yin Yun Ji Yao. Therefore, this article carried out an internal analysis on the book, at the same time, it will carry out comparative study on Pei Wei Shi Yun and Zhong Zhou Yin Yun Ji Yao so as to make a comprehensive evaluation in rhyme characteristics of the phonological nature to get a clear positioning of Tong Yin Zi Bian.
