With the development of the new curriculum reform, our country's education is making great progress. And at the same time, it brings new requests and aims to the English teachers. English teachers'teaching ability decides the quality of English teaching and also decides students'development. So the English teachers'training is widely concerned by our society. The master of the professional knowledge is the base of the practicing ability, and the forming of the basic professional knowledge mainly happens in the pre-service period, so the pre-service English teachers'professional knowledge construction becomes one of the most important points. Our government installs the Full-time Master's degree of Education, and under this situation, this paper begins the study of the pre-service English teachers'knowledge construction, taking the postgraduate students of Shandong Normal University, Ludong University and Qufu Normal University as examples. The professional knowledge construction in pre-service period will lead to the progress in the later English teaching period.As for the study of pre-service English teachers'knowledge construction, there are some steps to follow:First, based on the topic for study, check the data to get an adequate understanding of the background information of the topic, and to explain the reason and meaning of choosing this title.Second, analyze the data deeply to find out the present situation at home and abroad of the two aspects: pre-service English teacher and English teachers'knowledge. Then try to compare and analyze the information respectively. After the analysis, the notion of English teachers'knowledge is conformed. China's basic education curriculum reform raises new requests for the teachers. Because the pre-service English teachers aren't professional enough, so attention is paid to the English teachers'ability, but the professional knowledge is neglected. Under this situation, this paper starts the research of pre-service English teachers.Third, take the constructivism learning theory as the basic theory of knowledge learning. The constructivism theory thinks that knowledge learning is based on the experience and background information. The true meaning is gained through the choosing, processing and disposing of the new knowledge. Practice is the best way to realize it.Forth, by combining both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the study investigates and analyses the present situation of the pre-service English teacher's knowledge construction, and then gets the result of pre-service English teachers'knowledge development. They have a good master of the English knowledge and the teaching knowledge. Especially after studying the subject of Full-time Master's degree of education, pre-service English teachers have made great progress in mastering the knowledge. But according to the theory, knowledge is accepted by one's automatically construct, so the knowledge should be put into practice to make the construction prefect.Fifth, analyze the reason of the present situation. The subjects of the Full-time Master's degree of Education promote the pre-service English teachers'knowledge progress. The practicing chance is not enough, so the practicing knowledge is deficient.Based on this situation, this paper gives some advice to the professional knowledge construction. Constructional theory emphasizes that the knowledge should be learned in a dynamic situation, so, the pre-service English teachers' knowledge should be fulfilled through practice.
