The Analysis Of Chinese Taste-sense Words In Pre-Qin-Dynasty

Pre-Qin-Dynasty taste-sense Chinese words are a special group in Pre-Qin Chinese system, which not only has the common characteristics, but also the unique feature. It is a lexical group on the basis of taste-sense concept words—"Sweet ,Bitter, Sour , Pungent and Salty"which records the perception for taste of Pre-Qin-Dynasty, which implicate people's ways of thinking in Pre-Qin-Dynasty and people's emphasis on this.The Pre-Qin-Dynasty Chinese taste-sense words refer to all the words that contain taste meanings. The text is based on the synchronic level. At the beginning, I make strict separation on taste and construct the general picture of the Pre-Qin-Dynasty Chinese from the macroscopic point of view. I also make the basic categories from the number of the syllable, meaning, the ability and functions of word–formation and existing state, and explore its characteristics, make a comprehensive and fine portrayal. Then from word-making and word-forming two angles, I make an analysis of the taste-sense words. The pure taste sense words mostly stem from the arbitrary combination of the lexical meaning; Taste-sense compound words are mostly explanatory word-making and dissyllabic word-making. From the word-forming aspect, taste- sense compound words are mainly combined and modified compound words.The extensions of the Pre-Qin-Dynasty is the reflection of people's allusion of the cognition ways .I laid an emphasis on the"Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Strong and light tasted Delicious taste", and make systematic analysis of the lexical meaning. Besides, I seek for the cognition mechanism and extension mechanism system of taste-sense words. If there is different taste-sense word, then there is different cognition mechanism and extension mechanism system. For the cognition of"Sweet, Bitter, Sour, Pungent and Salty"and delicate taste sense, it is mostly from taste-tense category to other categories. Lexical meaning is extended from taste meaning to other category meaning. Vice Versa, for the heavy and light taste, it is just a switch. I made a thorough analysis of the development of lexical meaning each category, and show the cause for the lexical meaning development for cognitive linguistics. Through the detailed investigation, I generalize the application characteristics in the Pre-Qin-Dynasty bibliographies.The extension of the Pre-Qin-Dynasty is the reflection of people's allusion of the cognition ways. It gives people a clear picture of the entire feature and unique characteristic. It is helpful for people to master the feature of the development of lexical meaning of taste -sense words, which also makes up the deficiency on the subject, and greatly motivates the development of taste-sense words in modern Chinese.
