Color is an important feature of objective things, every man has good health opened his eyes after birth can feel the colorful world that formed by light and shade changing。With the constant maturing process of the child's brain and visual organs,3,4 months of age already have the physiological basis of color perception,which is for the children to create the conditions for the color naming. With the development of child's age and experience, color naming more and more accurate. So,Color is not dependent on the light reflect of the object into our eyes, but depends on the information on our brain gradually enriched.Since ancient times,research on memory and the pursuit of super-memory has never been interrupted。With the continuous development of science and technology,"Memory" has been drained away its mystery,became a subject of more research in the Psychological science。Memory study through the experimental method began in 1880 by Ebbinghaus, memory is the witness of long-term learning,is the ability to store and retrieve information and is the product of we set up. Since the 1950s to 1970s,research of STM became a subject of one of the central issues in the Psychological science, one of its most prominent is the limited information capacity and relative fixity.With the maturity of children's physiological basis,color experience and the short-term memory during this period have been greatly developed。In this paper, drawing on the basis of previous experience,through 3 tests on 3-6 years old infants and a questionnaire survey to them to see how color experience effects on short-term memory capacity.In the experimentⅠ,through the Statistics of infants'short-term memory capacity of two different experimental materials( one is can be named color, another is can't), study encodings differences on the impact of STM capacity. In the experimentⅡ, with different color pictures meaningful to understand the long-term memory colors experience already in short-term memory capacity on the impact. In the experimentⅢunderstanding of memory strategies in age differences, and to verify the formation of binding visual object features critical period, through different materials of age on short-term memory capacity of a meaningful difference in. The following conclusions:1. Infants'short-term memory capacity is 1-5; it is significant that color naming of the impact on memory capacity.2. To add Meaningful shape has no significant effect on color memory.3.In the memory process, half of 4 years old children has the object feature binding while their age, memory strategy be developed4. Girls'color memory capacity was significantly higher than boys'. But the difference is only in the experiment of children above 5 years old5. It is Consistent that in infants'Language development and short-term memory capacity by color on age and sex. The period of 4 and a half is the critical period of short-term memory capacity.Research on memory development in children of color will help children master the law of the color identification, individualized care for the multiplier. So, has some practical significance. Second, in advertising, the use of existing knowledge and experience in line with the"known"color, or use to the"strange"colors, our research can serve as a reference. In our study, the use of color as material, material with the words, confirm each other.
