This paper is based on the perspective of culture comparative study, compared and analyzed the main contents of Frankfurt School and Fiske's popular culture theory. Popular culture theory of Frankfurt School is the model of popular culture criticism. They believe that the popular culture is an ideology in advanced industrial society, And it possess fraudulence falsity content and maneuverability. However, popular culture theory of Fiske, He emphasized the production of popular culture and the productivity and creativity of public, recognizing the dominant position of public. Through comparative studies of Frankfurt School and Fiske's popular culture theory, look forward to, has some enlightening for research and development of mass culture, and culture Contribution in our country.First, List the literature review of the popular culture study and summarized the theoretical and practical significance of this article.Second, this paper overviewed, analyzed and interpreted the basic content, the main content and the positive and negative effects both of the popular culture theory.
