Education Thought Of Liberal Intellectuals After The Anti-japanese War

After the Anti-Japanese War, Chinese people hope democracy and peace in future. By The Observation, liberalism intellectuals appeal to the western democratic politics orbit. Based on the Observation, The education thoughts of liberalism intellectuals are studied. The Paper is divided into three chapters; the first chapter is about the founded background, the purpose, the basic position, the writers, and the content of the Observation and the statistics of the education on Observation. The second chapter introduces education thoughts of the Observation. Regarding the strengthening of the humanities education; about advocating free education but against the education from The Kuomintang; about the development of academic questions; about education in abroad; about improving education situation and improving teachers' salary; about university autonomy group. The third chapter is the analysis and evaluation of the education thoughts reflected the Observation. Through the analysis, we can get three points: first of all, advocate Liberal education; secondly, Ideological education salvation; thirdly, advocate Modern Civic education. At the same time, these thoughts inherit obviously these of the May 4th movement about education thought of liberal intellectuals.
