Philosophy and patterns of fantasy of those fantasy fiction authors begin to manifest their academic significance gradually in the rising of the style. Folk tales, Literary fairy tales and fantasy fiction are three stages of the children's fantasy literature, with Literary fairy tales as the transitional state of the first and third stage. The study on philosophy of author's and patterns of work's help us to outline the evolution of the Development of human's fantasy philosophy and clarity the complicated patterns of fantasy fiction.Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales doubtlessly become the first choice of our argument. In the transition epoch between Romanticism and Realism, Andersen started the contemporary consciousness of children's fantasy literature with his genius.There are four trends on the research of Andersen's fairy tales:(1)The acceptance and dissemination of Andersen's fairy tales, such as Li Hongye's "Andersen's fairy tales in China";(2) The essay-type research on Andersen's fairy tales, such as Sun Jianjiang's "Flying Soul" and Ye Junjian's postscript of translation and some other related articles;(3) The narrative features, tragic spirit and theological spirit of Andersen's fairy tales, such as Pu Manting's "On Andersen", Wei Wei's "History of Fairy Tales of Foreign Countries" and Shu Wei's "Study of Chinese and Western Fairy Tales". It is obvious that the genealogy exploration of Andersen's fairy tales is quite innovative and has its academic value.Basing on the close reading of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, this article explores the philosophy and patterns of Andersen's fairy tales. Philosophy of fantasy is rich complicated, which forms the main elements of the text. Different philosophy leads to different works. Besides, philosophy of fantasy is abstract; the exploration of it involves a deep research. This article tries to find Andersen's muti-philosophy of the world, animals, plants, sundries and God by demonstrating the characteristics o different racial and concepts of life in his fairy tales. Philosophy of the author directly influences the patterns of his fantasy, while the adopted patterns of children's fantasy literature reflect author's philosophy of fantasy. Andersen's fairy tales show us the obstructions of the communications between the reality and the fantasy. That is, the one of the parties (usually the human) does not know the existence the other. In this case, "silence" is used as a pattern of fantasy which shows Andersen's way to break the deadlock of the two. Another way that Andersen favored most was dream, which helped to extend the space of fantasy in order to get rid of the molesting of reality. "Silence" demonstrated the restraining of the "dual" world towards fantasy in Andersen's fairy tales. Besides, the embedding of dream into the reality reflected Andersen's ambiguous attitude towards fantasy.
