China's Present Situation Of Fashionable Dress Photography Style

Western fashion photography originated from France and Britain in the 1950s and 1960s, but in real sense, China saw the appearance of it in the late 1980s and early 1990s. With the reform and opening up, China's fashion photography developped as an express at the accelerating speed. Until now, Chinese fashion photography has covered the development scope of Europe and America in less than 20 years.In this period, many chinese photographers and designers from documentary photography, art photography, photography made their great efforts in this field. By means of Internet and studying abroad they conducted their studies to western theories and practices, meanwhile they inherited and developped our national culture, trying to explore the fashion photography with chinese style.But unfortunately, now the way for the exploration of fashion photography in China is not even at all. Our fashion photography has a short history of development and market and consumeption concerning fashion photography are not mature. The over-reliance on the technology of digital image and the lack of creativity in art education are also the factors for the default of the fashion photography. Chinese fashion photography has not formed its own style and its development is slow. This article aims to make analysis from three aspects:the attitude towards the field of art, the the inheritance and development of traditional culture and the cultivation of the abilityin field of photography。On this basis, through the comparison of the fashion photography in west and China,with the combination to the the background of the works, the paper aims to form constructive advice to the development of the style of the fashion photography from two aspects:the exploration of fashion photography style and the reform of China photography education.We believe fashion photography in China enjoys a bright future with the joint efforts of many aspects.
