The Study On Fu Lei's Musical Thought

Fu Lei is an outstanding translator, an artistic critic as well as a connoisseur of art of modern times in China. He is versatile, whose knowledge covers that of China and of foreign countries, and has unique appreciation of art. He has ever made creative achievements in literature, painting, music and artistic theory, and especially has accomplished exquisite musical theory and successful experience in education. As a Chinese intellectual in the middle of the last century, many of his artistic ideas and cognition of traditional culture have an inspiring effect on developing today's Chinese music---whether composition, performance or education of it .In the thesis Fu Lei's musical thought is analyzed and studied in depth from the aspects of musical aestheticism, music criticism, musical education and the influence and value of his musical thought on today's society.
