Resiliency refers to the personalities, abilities and social resources individuals possess to develop positive coping, well adaptation and maintain well physical and psychological health when faced with crisis or negative things. Abroad it is a hot subject for research, but has not still obtained the research systematically in our country. This research attempted to work out a scale about resiliency just for the university students on the basis of the former researches.In order to reach this purpose, this research went on according to the procedure for working out scales. First, the research collected broadly the researches about resiliency and some concepts similar to it and on this basis worked out the theoretical subseales. Then it obtained a lot of items from some other scales or investigation and some ways like that. Third, all items gained were given to the experts and the psychological postgraduate of Fujian normal university to decide what items were suitable. Then we investigated the goal object with the scale contained those items and modified or deleted some items in it after frequency analysis and factor analysis. In the end, we analysis the reliability and validity of the scale in a larger group in Fuzhou. It was found that:The resiliency scale for university students had good reliability and validity, and it with 42 items contained 8 dimensions, which were self-efficacy, self-acceptance, ability of invoking resources of psychology and society, emotional stability,the social association and problem solving, the support from friends and society, the support from family, sense of purpose and ability of executing.The research also studied the influence factors about the resilience in university students.We primary compared the university students, resilience on the gender,grade, ete. The results show that:1) In the social competence, male was higher than female (P<0.05).2) In the social competence ability of invoking resources of psychology and society, grade four higher than grade three(P<0.05).3) In the social association and problem solving, students of music, art, physical education was higher than medicine.
