Digital Chinese painting animation is created by computer graphic Technology. It simulates the visual style of the traditional Chinese painting. It is a combination of traditional Chinese painting and computer graphic technology, a new development of traditional Chinese painting. With a multi-dimensional perspective of culture, art, video, advertising, this paper analyzed the digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial film. With four properties of cultural inheritance properties, Chinese painting properties, digital film properties, advertising communication properties, this paper analyzed the digital Chinese painting animation works which played in TV in recent years. This paper focused on the spirit of culture and art which embedded in digital Chinese painting animation advertising, the beautiful style of Chinese painting animation advertising and the impaction of Chinese painting animation for advertising industry.This paper mainly discusses the following aspects:firstly, the start up and status of digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial films; Secondly, traditional Chinese culture features of digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial films; thirdly, the Chinese painting feature of digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial films; fourthly, the digital film feature of digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial films; fifthly, the advertising communications features of digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial films; sixthly, the future development of digital Chinese painting animation which used in commercial films is forecasted,we also analysis the problems of the usage of digital Chinese painting animation and proposed some solutions; in the final chapter the conclusion of this paper is proposed.
