Higher Art And Design Major, "Constitutes A" Basic Course Instructional Design

As a fundamental course in art design of higher vocational college,"Constitute" discipline plays a very important role. It enlightens students who are entering art design in creative thinking and modern design ideas. What this subject devotes to tackle are not only enable students to understand rules, research logic and master laws, but also to maintain a good sense of art, contributing to the further art design practice. In an age of rapidly changing, the previous artistic design system is rethought profoundly, together with teaching structure and education system, which has a significant meaning in re-designing and creating the "Constitute" course, as well as perfecting specific curriculum in this system.This article discusses "Constitute" discipline of Art and Design in vocational college from four aspects. In the first part, through studying the history, development and current trend in home and aboard, it is discovered that it is necessary and urgent to enhance the innovative design ability in teaching "Constitute" course. In the second section, by locating "Constitute" subject and its range, explaining the position in the design major in vocational college, analyzing domestic situation, together with foreign teaching ideas and characteristic, the direction of reform and design are clearly made out. From the third part, the author point out the main problems, profiting from teaching experience and care summarization. In the final fourth aspects, according to the key points and difficulties in "Constitute" discipline, some reformation ideas are proposed, which includes instructional philosophy, content innovation, teaching materials construction, instructional methods, teaching tools design, evaluation mechanism and so on.
