The Application Of Constructivist Teaching Theory In Piano Teaching At College

Constructivism is the further development from behaviorism to cognitivism. It is considered as the learning theory of "post-cognitivism" Constructivist learning theories are payed attention with the evolution of information technology and educational reform.Because piano teaching at college plays an important role, this paper.Introduces the whole theories of constructivist teaching theory,combine with thecharacteristics of piano, teaching goals and problems to analyze the meaning in practice guidance, update the traditional piano teaching ideas, refine and improve teaching models of piano and teaching methods.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is a theoretical basis which recounts the history and overview of constructivism, introduses teaching models and teaching methods of constructivism, discusses the significance of constructivist teaching theory. The second part analyzes the Position of Piano Teaching from different factors, points out the problems of piano teaching, introduces the necessity and feasibility on constructivist teaching theory.The third part is the focus of this paper which applies the constructivist teaching theory in Piano Teaching and proposes some new teaching ideas under the guidance.
