0n Literary Criticism In The Perspective Of Queer Theory

Queer theory rising in the 90's has set off a wave of studies on the nonstraight people. Scholars in sociology, psychology, medicine, literature, science and other areas of communication have been concerned about those people. In Literary criticism, the literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory which was just appeared has also been both positive and negative evaluation. In My research utilizes methodologies of queer theory, applying a large number of text data, to undergo much more systematic rearrangement and research on literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory.This article includes introduction, body which includes four chapters, and the conclusion of these three parts.The introduction of this article can be mainly divided into three levels: the first level is to define the study object and the related content; the second level is to state the present situation; the third level successfully obtains the innovation, the research value and the significance of this article based on the first two foundations.The first chapter begins with the theoretical basis and rich text material that the literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory should include to expound the main points and ideas. And this part also introduces both the important position of represents of queer theory and other literary theorists who have a significant impact on the represent. Through recounting the queer characters in the text, the article fully confirms the possibility and necessity that applies queer theory to literary criticism. Thus proving that, literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory has provided a critical basis and theoretical basis. Meanwhile, the real existence and the narration of literary criticism have provided a large number of readable materials for this kind of literary criticism. The theory and the texts have opened a door to the critical practice.Chapter two shows what literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory studies: on the critique of heterosexual hegemony, gender identity exploration, queer emotional recognition of human values.In the interpretation, we will find the missing men or the image of evil men, subversion male hegemony, heterosexual hegemony and further criticism. Meanwhile, critics marginalized groups to explore the text of the ups and downs of gender identity process. Gender identity in their tragedy led to many critics thought of sentimental value for them. Sincere feelings for the marginalized groups, Literary Criticism in the perspective of queer theory give their due respect and understanding. Thus, I try to prove that the queer theory criticism can be an effective practice, and it is full of literary criticism in a positive academic value.The third chapter summarizes the features and characteristics of the practice of literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory, which is, subversive reading, deconstructive criticism, diversified methods. Subversive reading not only shows in the subversion of heterosexual hegemony, but also in subversion of the perspective of reading. Interpretation of this criticism is not limited to homosexual text. You can also extend to the classic straight text. The deconstruction of this criticism shows in deconstructing heterosexual cultural center for the digestion, deconstructing traditional gender system, for a wide range of voice and way of life. Meanwhile, literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory actively learns from the Perspective of Social Criticism, psychoanalytic criticism, feminist criticism, such as diversification of the criticism to criticism of deepening its own content.The fourth chapter first set out to explore the positive effects of this literary criticism: a wealth of literary criticism, to develop new methods of literary criticism; to expand vision structure of literary studies, and to expand the reader's appreciation vision; to inspire the people for rethinking gender relations, and to strive to create equal and harmonious picture of social life. Then, this paper attempts to point out the problems and shortcomings of this literary criticism which it has in the critical practice. In the practice of this literary criticism, lack of theoretical interpretation of the value of content, there are still simple and the demonization of the phenomenon; research results from the current point of view of literary criticism in the "strange" the uniqueness of the lack of aesthetics; the future direction of this literary criticism is unclear. Finally, this paper attempts to provide several suggestions for its future development.In my opinion, according to two decades'criticism practice, literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory focuses on constructive criticism than the politics, draws on a variety of critical methods flexibly used in the practice. As a new perspective of literary criticism, with its fresh and unique perspective reconstruct some classic literary works, expanding the pattern of literary studies, releasing its strong academic strength. Although there are some problems and shortcomings in its path of development, but those shortcomings can not diminish its academic appeal. In order to use queer theory in literary criticism better, we should further strengthen the integration of theoretical resources, focus on local resources, and attract more literary critics to join in the theoretical research of literary criticism in the perspective of queer theory. We believe that, with the positive efforts of the researchers, queer theory will shows its unique academic value increasingly, becoming a"wonderful flower in literary criticism".
