The specialty setting is the basic unit of advanced training in higher education, also the main carrier of the colleges education. It is not only regulating the development of personnel training, but also plays a vital role the overall operation of the college. Therefore, the reasonable specialty setting is the key to university scales and quality of personnel training. Since the founding we have conducted six major professional adjustment, so that the education has been formed a good run, but there are still many problems in specialty establishment of undergraduate academy. Especially, now that higher education becomes increasingly popular, the issue of specialty establishment is more highlighted.Specialty problems are the main reason that decline in the quality of university education and so many colleges have stereotyped, particularly English professional. In many of the survey report shows, English from the most popular, the highest employment rate professional to become the biggest pressure of employment, the highest unemployment rate professional, it depends on the government regulation and school characteristics. Therefore, this paper selects it as a specific object of study. It form popular applicants professional to become not in vogue which receives the attention of public opinion.In this article, Liaoning Province as an observation point, we research more than a dozen colleges, by way of researching the status of English professional's layout,teacher structure,training objectives in Liaoning Province, with a new perspective that is the employment-oriented training model. According to the existing crisis in English major, research by the actual statistics, we set from a professional point of view that discuss the problems in size,personnel training,as well as employment, and then analyze the problems of the English professional, this article analysis it mainly from these four such as the social-economic, government regulation, school teaching and students in their own. Finally, according to strengthen the government's macro regulation and control, build early warning system professionally,innovative training model,strengthen the talent market research assessment, in the light of the needs for English majors of Liaoning's economic development.
