The study of disyllabic adjectives has many bifurcation and discrepancy in Chinese grammar research, the consistency degree of disyllabic adjectives is very low, so that the study is very complex. In order to define exactly how is the consistency degree of disyllabic adjectives, so this paper is on special research of disyllabic adjectives. In the method, we take the quantitative investigation method to inquiry the consistency of disyllabic adjectives in attributive and predicate position.The 864 disyllabic adjectives come from the book of《HANYU XINGRONGCI YONGFA CIDIAN》. In the form, we investigate the distribution of disyllabic adjectives in the attributive and predicate position. There are three syntactic patterns in the attributive position and six syntactic patterns in the predicate position. According to the research, in the attributive position the consistency degree of disyllabic adjectives is 71.7%, in the predicate position the consistency degree of disyllabic adjectives is 69.3%. So we know most of disyllabic adjectives are consistent in attributive and predicate position.The dissertation is developed in five chapters. The research background of adjective, the purpose of dissertation and research methodology are introduced in the first chapters, and instructions for some related problems are also given here. The distribution of disyllabic adjectives in the attributive position is discussed in the second chapter, the distribution of disyllabic adjectives in the predicate position is discussed in the third chapter. In the forth chapter, according to the data of the quantitative investigation from the first two chapters, we show exactly the consistency and differency degree in the disyllabic adjectives, the three chapters above are the principal part of this dissertation. The fifth chapter is to summarize this paper, the deficiencies and the conceive of continue to study.
