Xie Ling-yun who is praised as the tops during the Yuanjia years of Jin Dynasty is a great poet of the Jin Dynasty and also is a typical literati of bureaucratic classes which is irretrievably on the decline. The turbulent social reality and venal administration make a literati boxed in a paradox between the ideal and the reality,and feel much depressed. Xie Lingyun is the representatives of the literati. In order to get out of the melancholy and release from mental anguish, Xie Ling-yun positively explore a new way to write poem through the description of the natural landscape,and theses landscape poems have important effect on later poems.This paper analyses Xie Ling-yun'poem from every side. with the understanding the people and the world method and the Mutual Corroboration Between Epic and History method, I also gives opinions or perspectives on his philosophical thought and life dilemma. The first chapter briefly introduces the realistic existent straits of Xie Ling-yun.Xie Ling-yun shoulder three times heavy responsibilities which is from times,family and himself therefore under the heavy burden,he was very ambivalent and try to struggle and fight.The second chapter described the literati in an awkward in his poems expressing his innermost feeling and ambition.He often expressed her heart feelings and complain that he was born in wrong times in these poems.we can find from thess poems that he was anguish on mind because of the frustration in politics.All of his poems is his emotion's journey.The third chapter analyses the landscape poems from every side and show his anguish and conflict of his heart and soul from broader and deeper angls.
