The Northern Song Dynasty is the golden era of the development of CI which achieved great achievement both on quantity and quality. love terms play a predominant role in every kind of genres. The flourish of love terms is not only related with lyrical tradition of lyrical CI, but also with social life of the time.The earlier researches on love terms are mostly restricted on a specific writer whose energies are put on the particular emotional textual research or the analysis of art value that related with lyrical CI itself. There are few researches which analyze from the perspective of psychology and even rare when one regards those writers as a whole and carry out group researches.The affection is an epitome of an epoch. Combined with the social background of the time, one can grope people's psychological characteristics and reappear the collective mentalities of literary men in that time by means of the analysis of those lyrical CI. The task which outlining the mentality of literary men from the aspect of emotional value have a great significance.On the basis of texts, this paper attempts to restore the state of mind of literary men in the Northern Song dynasty through psychological analysis, providing reference for genuinely comprehending lyrical CI and the social life in the northern song dynasty. This paper can be classified into the introduction, the body and the conclusion.The introduction expounds the origin, the current situation and the significance of the thesis research, defines the research object and evaluates the role of love CI.The body is divided into two parts:The first part, namely chapter one, makes the psychological research on the reason of the flourish of love terms in northern song dynasty, which mainly including the lasting of lyrical tradition based on functional mentality, the mental defense of avoiding disadvantages and the influence of the herd mentality.The second part, including chapter two, chapter three, chapter four and chapter five, mainly analyzes the state of mind of literary men in the northern song dynasty and assesses the emotion.Chapter two: literary men's mind of game of in the northern song dynasty which particularly reflects on pan emotional colors of life ,the arbitrariness of love, the similar and overlapping styles of work. The emotional evaluation of love CI, the sincerity in reading single articles, the random emotions under context, the formalization caused by mind of game.Chapter three: literary men's sentimental mentality in the Northern song dynasty. It reflects on the valentine's landscape is always separated, it's more difficult to depart when lovers have transient meet. The deep meaning of the sentimental mentality is the reflection of sad mood in the overall northern song society.Chapter four: literary men's narcissistic state of mind in the northern song dynasty. Firstly, this mentality reflects on their high degree of self-confidence on their talents, their subjective emotional attitude on women's emotions, and easily thinks that the partner has feeling on them. Secondly, the emotional evaluation of the narcissistic mentality. Thirdly, the ultimate goal of narcissistic mentality. Namely, they realize their own valve and achieve self-fulfillment through the women's emotional victory.Chapter five: literary men's nostalgia state of mind. Firstly, its psychological analysis. Secondly, its emotional expressions: the missing will be sent via direct speech, the missing is more thick in this scene, more missing can be found in the dream.Conclusion: In summary, this paper makes overall summary and evaluation on the role of love CI, the state of mind reflected literary men, and make the mentality in love CI rise the social dimension. They are the projection of the collective mood of the times.
