Luyi is the hometown of our great philosopher and ideologist Lao-tzu, who was respected as Taiqing Moral Tianzun ,one of the Three Qing Gods. With deep historical origins and cultural background ,Luyi Taoist music is representative in Taoist music, which is an important part of Taoist culture . The Historical data analysis Method was used in this essay to describe the history evolution and current situation of Taoist music in LuYi;The Field Survey Method of Ethnomusicology recorded the early altar lessons and celebration Tech Forum in MingDao Palace ; The concrete application and the classification method of the Taoist music was presented by a detailed description of the ritual occasions, the ceremony process ,the staff , clothing and musical instruments involved in the ceremony; The chamber chanting of LuYi Taoist music types and morphological characteristics, the instruments used and the common plate was fully described;By contrasting, the Henan rhyme is compared with Quanzhen rhyme and Wudang rhyme to analyse its similarities and individualities , the secular characteristics of welcome charm , and to analyze the Taoist music art form from the outside and inside view.LuYi Taoist music is the main study object of this essay .We make the following conclusions with metods of Historical data analysis ,Field Survey Method and Comparative analysis .1. Luyi Taoist music is representative due to its deep historical roots and cultural background to a certain degree.2.Through field research of Luyi Taiqing Palace and Ming Palace, music of Luyi Taoist belongs to Quan Zhen Daoist music , only the sound track (the chanting cavity)and no instrumental music (ie, sign song). Chamber chanting is the traditional five-tone style, only percussion instruments (the instruments used in) accompaniment.Chanting tone is divided into six kinds :Wen, mantra tone, ridicule by the chamber, chamber chant sutras, chanting tone and rhyme tone.3. Henan rhyme is inherited from Quanzhen Daoist rhyme on the origin, both belonging to the ten-rhyme system. Charm rhyme has its specialty among local rhymes.4. The research about Taoist music should properly handle the relationship between insider and outsider, achieving a mutual cultural understanding and reducing the barriers to research.
