Investigation And Research On Taoist Ritual Music In Kongtong Mountain

The Kongtong mountain is the Holy Land of Taoism which is situated in Pingliang City of Gansu Province,it has deeply Taoism culture resources and it is riched in the Taoist Music culture.This paper takes " The Kongtong mountain's Taoist Ritual Music"as the investigation object,focuses on the annual "The birth of LeiZu" Ritual and its music activities,by using the research methods of fieldwork and other related disciplines to explore and analyze its forming history,cultural background,scientific instrument and its music form.The full text consists of the introduction,the text of four chapters and the conclusion.First of all,it reviews the historical origin of Kongtong Mountain Taoism and its music.Secondly,based on the relevant literature and the actual observation and personal experience of the Taoist music activities in Kongtong Mountain,this paper focuses on the description and analysis of the annual "The birth of LeiZu" Ritual and its music activities.through the horizontal(different regional Taoist music)and vertical(the same area Taoist music)multi-dimensional comparative analysis,try to explore the regional cultural characteristics of Taoist music in Kongtong Mountain.Finally,through the thinking of the regional cultural characteristics and social and cultural functions of Kongtong Mountain Taoist music,this paper explains the current situation of Kongtong Mountain Taoist music.
