Buddhism in city has become a focused topic recently, but the related sysmatic research is not so popular. The domestic research about modern metropolis Buddhism is concentrated on Buddhism Temple, Believer, Social Affect and the Influence on each other. Now, there is not an accurate standard about metropolis Buddhism, just a few fuzzy definitions for example, metropolis Buddhism is a kind of mode opposite to Buddhism in mountains and forests because those activities of metropolis Buddhism believers are in the city. It is an important way of Buddhism spreading. This dissertation shows a unique way of getting into the Buddhism level, which can be treated as a aspiring activity of Buddhism in human life.Metropolis Buddhism derives from the old age, overall, modern metropolis Buddhism's affects are faith and ethical education function, mental function, cultural function, in addition to services, public functions. In fact, the way of getting into the metropolis Buddhism level is inprogress.On the one hand, modern metropolis Buddhism actively participates in society. On the other hand, the society affects for modern metropolis Buddhism as well.In commodity economy and fast Urbanization background, the key of modern metropolis Buddhism's development is how to deal with the rationality and the faith. In other words, it is how to satisfy people's demand on rationality and the faith , which needs to persist on theory and opportunity.
