Speech Communication is an interactive process, both sides of communication will use different ways in order to achieve their communicative purposes. The emphatic ways convey the information by abnormal expression of language, which can make the listener understand the information after he receives the mental stimulation. The emphatic way is the unity of content and form, different emphatic ways create different effects. Speakers have been trying to looking for a best efficient way to finish their communication.With the accelerated pace of social life, people express their ideas with fewer and fewer words, the performance of emphatic ways keep pace with the trend, which is much time-saving. The appearance of all kinds of emphatic ways will enlarge the system of pragmatic and make it alive.We try to build a system of emphatic category. By comparing the difference between the emphatic way in Chinese and English, we analyze the errors of foreign students when they use the emphatic way. The article bases the fact of language and we make a comprehensive analysis, combined with oral and written language, synchronic and diachronic, marked and unmarked way, which can guide the second-language teaching.
