As for the"cultural turn"in the 1980s, translation was absorbed into cultural field, gender and translation research has attracted more and more attention and made great development. Because of some shared topics, gender and translation combined with each other, especially the combination of feminist and translation expands the perspective of translation studies and has great impact toward traditional translation theories and translation practice. Now, the combination of Gender and translation has becomes the prominent direction in translation studies. As we all know, Gone with the Wind is monumental epic of Margaret Mitchell's work. Its publication is a great success. It is so popular both in its own country and foreign countries. Therefore, this paper searches the two translated versions of the classic work Gone With the Wind from the angle of gender difference, solves how the gender difference manifests in the translations and how the translators of different gender convey the female experiences and female language of the original novel, if this is bothered by cultural factor, and if the translations carry translators ideology respectively and it is good or bad for translations and try to figure out the solutions.Through the research, the thesis presents that Fu Donghua and Li Meihua's gender factor both contributes to their translations. Because of the existence and interference of gender factor, translator will interpret the original text from different perspective, he/she has different understanding toward the same original text, Fu Donghua and Li Meihua both show their agreement or resistance, and they consciously or unconsciously intervene or harmonizes, excludes or degrades some thoughts or values, these reflected in translations are the different translations with exceeded or weaken effect. So female translator Li Meihua shows her female identity fully, she stresses women's position, enlarges the original's influence and extends the life of the original. While, compared with foreign radical feminist translation, Chinese female translator Li Meihua's translation is a more gentle feminist translation, though Li Meihua shows the influence of gender fact in translation, it is not like radical feminist translation. Male translator's translation is filled with certain degree of gender discrimination, which shows his masculinist, weakens the original text's feminism. But, he doesn't adopt the radical language and distort the original novel greatly, so Fu Donghua's translation can be said a gentle masculinist translation.
