Early childhood is an important period of promotion emotional competence. As a major part of emotional competence, emotion regulation affects the children's emotional socialization process, mental health and social adaptation in the future. So, it is necessary to carry out some systematic, appropriate education to promote the development of emotion regulation. Based on the real life about 4-5 years old children, this study gathers some elements of the ecosystem and explores a set of ecological education programs which can be merged into the daily teaching in the action research then implements in practice and test to improve children's emotional regulation capacity, peer interaction and social adaptation. At the same time, the process about designing, organization and implementation provides a basis and practical reference for teachers and parents.The action research selected 28 children as object and the teacher Z as cooperator in a kindergarten in Chongqing. Based on the emotional intelligence theory and ecological systems theory, physiological and psychological development patterns of young children and research results, this study established the emotional education programs which involve goal setting, content selection, evaluation and others, then reviewed its validity and reached the following conclusions:First, education programs enhance children's emotion regulation ability. Emotional recognition and understanding, expression, regulation and exertion have had a prominent improvement; cognitive restructuring, problem solving and emotional venting strategy have achieved a very remarkable level, self-comforting strategy have achieved remarkable levels.Second, education programs improve the use of emotion regulation strategies. It increases the use frequency of positive regulation strategy, reduces the use frequency of negative regulation strategy, and gradually tends to use positive constructing strategy such as cognitive restructuring and problem solving to alleviate the emotional impulse.Third, education programs must integrate the various elements of the ecological environment and the improvement of the ecological relations into the whole system; diversified mode of operation can guarantee the success of programs, so we can make use of drama, emotional theme picture books, paintings and other forms to foster children's emotional regulation capacity.
