| In the face of secretly passing time, some of the sensitive people cherish the time and struggle hard, while others breed the idea that merry in time. Contemporary pop lyrics, which are attatched to the literature, also sigh about the shortness of life and then reason with people to enjoy. The focus of the thesis is contemporary pop lyrics, which persuade people of treasuring time fun from the perspective of short life, or encourage people not to be crushed by external thing for they are pointless, or propose happiness from the simple appeal of relieving anxiety levels, or transcend the world as a spectator from a higher angle. The reasons and the value orientation of the theme'merry in time' are the key points. Firstly,'merry in time'is the extension of life theme in the ancient Chinese literary; Secondly, contemporary aesthetic psychology, such as modernity crisis, the special nature of the mass popular culture, the influence of the culture of Hong Kong and Taiwan, act on the theme together. In terms of value orientation, the thesis aims at critically accepted, which is based on Adorno's cultural criticism. On the one hand,'merry in time'is unable to escape the negative significance, on the other hand, it's positive thinking for the meaning of life, and the psychology without worldly desires is worthy of advocating.
