Researches For Qian Mu's Academic Work On Zhuangzi

Qian Mu is a great scholar. Although his main research area is history, the study of Pre-Qin philosophers is concerned and his academic work is dazzling. As for studies in the Zhuangzi, he has written three books:Compiling Zhuangzi, Research on Zhuangzi and Laozi, Research on Pre-Qin philosophers. Compiling Zhuangzi is a book that annotates Zhuangzi. Qian commented academic work of predecessors to Zhuangzi and put forward his own views. Research on Zhuangzi and Laozi is a book that is mainly on argumentation and analysis of Zhuangzi, and researches on the scholars of Wei and Jin dynasty. Research on Pre-Qin philosophers is a book that is about philosophers of the Pre-Qin dynasty, which includes three articles that research life of Zhuangzi, and Zhuangzi. This article bases on close reading of the text, combining literature, researching Qian Mu's academic work deeply, and striving to fully demonstrate the Qian Mu's academic achievement.
