After Stresemann determined to suspend passive resistance, the Bavarian government rebelled. Stresemann tried to conciliation with Bavarian's right rebellion. But when the Saxony and Thuringen assumed governments with the Communist party, Stresemann blocked them fiercely. At last, the governments in Saxony and Thuringen fell down. It aroused the SPD great dissatisfaction. During the time, Stresemann was troubled with the revolt in DVP and Hitler's revolt. In the end, Stresemann solved these two problems successfully. During Stresemann's governing, the crown prince William returned to Germany. It attracted many debates. The third chapter discussed the downfall, influence and evaluation of Stresemann's government.
