With the outbreak of Islam revolution in The Middle East in 1970s, The Fundamentalism of Islam begin to thrive and spread to all of the world. The power of the Fundamentalism of Islam seriously deepen the relationship between the Hindus and Muslims in India, including the Uttar Pradesh. During the 1980s, with the revivalism of Hindu nationalism and the tide of communalism, that BJP had been built and became more stronger in Uttar Pradesh make the relationship between the Hindus and Muslims more intense, especially in the Uttar Pradesh.In this context, the Uttar Pradesh give rise to communal riots from1970s to 1990s.The paper was divided into four parts.The first part briefly review the historical Hindus-Muslim violence in the Uttar Pradesh.This part introduce Hindus-Muslims upheaval of Mughal Dynasty, colonial period and from Partition between India and Pakistan to 1960s. It will point out that the generation of Hindus-Muslims disturbance is different in different historical periods.The second part mainly state Hindus-Muslim riot in this region in1970s to 1990s. First of all, this part will discuss Hindus-Muslims disturbance was confronted with the international and domestic conditions which is extremely different from historical periods. Secondly, there are three affairs in terms of sensitive point posting communal violence in the Uttar Pradesh:the debate of religious place,the controversy of position AMU(Aligarh Muslim University) and Urdu, Hindus-Muslims upheaval relating to religious festival.The three part introduce the Hindus-Muslim violence in the rest of India.There are different from the Uttar Pradesh.The four part will analyse the reasons accounting for Hindus-Muslims violence in the area. There are the influence of modern electoral politics, the revivalism of Hindu nationalism,and secularism of India.
