The traditional Chinese family is such a kind of society which is full of closely kindred. Throughout the history, the Cheng Communal family has got certain representative and special meaning as a whole family in which all members had lived together for almost 300 years. The Cheng Communal Family stands for the Cheng's who had lived in Pujiang county of Jinhua in Zhejiang Province generation to generation from South-song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty to early Ming Dynasty. This family had been honored many times by the imperators and was called Number One in the south of the lower reaches of the Changjiang River. There was an elaborate Cheng's family criterion and relatively perfect education regulations and system during the family development and the college was built as well as the private school. The Cheng's family education not only kept the family culture on and on but also influenced that area and the latter generation. This dissertation focuses on the Cheng Communal Family, analyzing traditional Chinese family correlative education characters in the base of some literatures and outlined the Cheng's family education system . Using as a reference, we can have a better understanding of traditional education and society.The first chapter mainly introduces the family development course and history characters under the family education system. The second chapter analyses the basic characteristics of the Cheng's education in the base of family and other history literatures, that is, Xiao as the core of the family education and positive spirit. The third chapter sums up the family education implement: theory guarantee, important methods and culture carriers. Based on the previous researches, this dissertation states the family education effects and draws a conclusion.
