The Aesthetic Study Of The Ideology Of Affections And Nature In Sun Guoting's Calligraphy

Sun Guoting is a distinguished calligrapher and calligraphy theorist in the early period of the Tang Dynasty. In his masterpiece "Book Spectrum", based on his calligraphy practices, Sun Guoting had done great researches on the essence of calligraphy, subject of literary creation, calligraphy learning and other issues. He proved that calligraphy can be an expression of art forms; and the calligraphy aesthetics ideology in which affections and the nature were emphasized.Based on the background of the Classical Chinese Aesthetics, Sun Guoting's calligraphy ideology was an objective study of calligraphy and embodies the theory of consciousness.
