Types And Design Of Extracurricular Activities In Teaching Chinese As Second Language

The role and significance of extra-curricular activities in teaching Chinese for foreigners wasn't explored in years, and even there wasn't precise definition of what is called"an extra-curricular activity"in this sphere of education. Many education institutions and educators didn't give enough attention to this form of education.There was discussed an important place and a significant role of extra-curricular activities in detail in this thesis, and from the perspective of teaching, we will make a definite classification and differentiation of it. The extra-curricular activities in teaching Chinese for foreigners we will divide into: auxiliary extra-curricular activities in classroom teaching,"daily life"extra-curricular activities,"network communication"extra-curricular activities,"social surveying, interviewing, visiting some cultural spots, go sightseeing"extra-curricular activities and others, and will expound the specific and role of all these kinds in detail.We will use the model"theory-analysis-design"form of research to get the best results, after all. We will try put this model in practice and will use this model in designing two the most common types of design projects of extra-curricular activities in teaching Chinese for foreigners:"Chinese evening party"design project and"one-day trip"design project. Hopefully, my studies can provide some valuable information and assistance to students, studying Chinese as second language, and to educators, whom involved in teaching Chinese as second language.
