Deer-pattern Petroglyph on Grassland in North China plays very important part in Rock Paintings of Yinshan, Ulan Qab, Helan Mountain and MoBei area. Deer closely relate to residents on grassland, and are entities which reflect relations between earth and human in paleoanthropology society. The emergence of Deer-pattern Petroglyph in rock paintings is not only vivid reflection of Deer worship among ancient ancestors, but also is a reflection of its social-economic formation.Deer-pattern Petroglyph which found in Yinshan, Ulan Qab, Helan Mountain and MoBei areas on Grassland in North China is the research object of this paper. The author reveals the social background and the features of the times deeply through comparative study. The paper can be divided into following several parts:First chapter:Deer-pattern Petroglyph which found in Yinshan, Ulan Qab, Helan Mountain and MoBei areas on Grassland in North China is introduced in this part and explanation is given according to classification.Second chapter:the author studies the Regional characteristics of Deer-pattern Petroglyph in Yinshan, Ulan Qab, Helan Mountain and MoBei areas through analyzing and summarizing manufacturing method and artistic style of rock paintings.Third chapter:comparative study is made between Deer-pattern picture and Lushi in rock painting and Deer-pattern picture on bronze ware, and preliminary analysis is given on the features of the times of Deer-pattern Petroglyph and its chiseled relative age.The discovery of Deer-pattern Petroglyph on Grassland in North China provides reliable information to explore culture and art of nomadic people on Grassland in North China. The comparative study of Deer-pattern Petroglyph is crucial to probe human society, primitive religion, primitive art and living environment deeply.
