Expounding On Lv Shi Jia Shu Du Shi Ji

At Southern Song Dynasty a scholar named Lv Zuqian worked his heart out and spent eight years to accomplish the book "Lv Shi Jia Shu Du Shi Ji ", during the whole course of it he rewrote twice and adopted good points from lots of academic achievements which he gathered on The Book of Songs from the times Confucius lived to the time he lived."Du Shi Ji" is the representative work of the sinologists in Song Dynasty, which integrated with "At poetry sequence" , explanations to the meanings of poetries, words and its explanations, historical materials dialectically, and all the scholars through all the ages gave it high evaluations. This article is expected to show Lv Zuqian's studying contents and methods on "poetry" by doing research on"Du Shi Ji" and combing it simply in terms of explaining ancient words in current language, understood Lv Zuqian's achievements on Poetry's study by holding the explanations'character, and the valuation of "Du Shi Ji "in Poetry's study at Song Dynasty.The first chapter: the exegesis of "Du Shi Ji ".This chapter is the main part of this thesis, and the explanations on "Du Shi Ji "will be developed generally in terms of forms, contents, methods and terms of the explanations.The first section illuminates the form of explanation on "Du Shi Ji ".The second section investigates the contents of the exegesis on "Du Shi Ji"with regard about eight facts which are using words dialectically, correcting sections and chapters, inspecting and correcting pronunciation, expounding grammar, explaining words, appealing rhetoric, and explaining custom, sentences and chapters.The third section expounds the methods of the exegesis on"Du Shi Ji "with regard to the explanation of form and meanings, Habitat for the training concept and Reference.The forth section concludes the explanation terms used in Lv Zuqian's"Du Shi Ji"which include paraphrase terminology, emendating terminology and the others.The second chapter: the developing and abandoning of "Du Shi Ji "in terms with adopting the formers'opinions about the theory of"Book of Poetry". The chapter is included by the writer in the course of combing "Du Shi Ji". Lv Shi drawn and absorbed lessons from previous works when he was annotating Du Shi Ji , this chapter will expound with regard to the three facts which are the attitude of Lv Shi to "At poetry sequence", Mao Zhuan and Zheng Jian,and by doing them give prominence to Lv Shi's thinking and standpoint of Confucian study.The third chapter: the character of the exegesis on "Du Shi Ji".Firstly analysis the studying character of Lv Zuqian in terms of citing references which is incorporating thing of diverse nature; Secondly stress the character of Lv Shi's using own words to explain the poetry by analyzing and concluding five conditions in which Lv Shi used his words to describe the poetry; and thirdly expound the status and valuation of "Du Shi Ji" on the studying Poetry of the Song Dynasty.The article discusses Lv Zuqian's thinking of the Confucian and character of studying poetry on "Du Shi Ji" with regard to all the facts above, which complements the deficiency of single writer writing and studying on researching the honour sequence of The Book of Songs at Song Dynasty in academic circle nowadays, and especially the deficiency to the studying of specific forms,contents and methods of the exegesis among his achievements etc.
