This thesis aim to the issue that whether Plato himself made the modification to his former theory of Form. The methord of this research is to place the philosopher's image together with the theory of Form in order that both of them may be discuss. Because these two factors was the theme of Plato's works, and the greatest problem that all these dialogues aimed to solve. The combination of these two factors was the character of Plato's phylosophy, any factor to discuss must not ignore the other, otherwise, misapprehending will be generate. In such consideration, on the one hand, this thesis will compare the image of young Socrates in Parmenides with others dialogues, especially Republic and Symposium, and compare the scenario of this dialogue with those. After these works, we will see clearly that the spot young Socrates stand in, and the meanings of the words he and others characters uttered. On the other hand, it will compare the pre-socrates philosophy's tradition about the investigation of Beginning(archē) with Plato's theory of Form, and analyse Aristotle's criticism on it in Metaphysica, point out that the criticism on Form by Parmenides was a mistake that it had missed the difference between the Form and pre-socrates philosophy's Beginning, the same Aristotle did, so the Form had befallen the difficulties. So the criticism on young Socrates can not be look as Plato's self criticism, and the eight deductions can not be recognize as the germination of new theory of Form which had spreaded in Sophist and Statesman that became Plato's later philosophy. The theory of Form did not change in Parmenides, because the open theory it was. The content of Form was decided by philosopher's practice, different practice need different Form. So, it will answer why there is some Form, and there is not. It is no reason to oppugn the relation between Form and the phenomenal world and even to deny the Form. To partake is not the strict used in Plato's works, the important is to practise rather than to explain the phenomenon.
