The formation and development of Shandong Zheng School are inseparable from the inheritance and development of ancient artists. As a representative of the Shandong Zheng School, Mr. Zhao Yuzhai had made a great contribution to the development of Shandong Zheng School. In this paper, taking"Mr. Zhao Yuzhai"as the research object, his playing style, theoretical innovation, and teaching ideas have been analyzed, hoping to promote the further development of Shandong Zheng School, in order to provide some reference for future teaching of Shandong Zheng School and National Zheng.The first chapter mainly introduces the guzheng art career and achievements of Mr. Zhao Yuzhai, the formation of Shandong zheng school art style, the composition of Shandong Zheng Music, and the relationship of Mr. Zhao Yuzhai with Shandong Zheng School. Came to the conclusion that the playing style of Mr. Zhao Yuzhai didn't only inherits the playing style of Shandong Zheng School, but also had its own performance characteristics, so as to form a unique playing style. The second chapter mainly introduces the guzheng performance innovation, theoretical innovation and innovative ideas of Mr. Zhao Yuzhai, his guzheng performance innovation was mainly on the basis of Shandong zheng musician style, added innovative techniques to form a unique playing style. Then to research the theoretical innovation and innovative ideas of Mr. Zhao Yuzhai from Zheng Music that he performanced. The thrid chapter analyzes that after Mr. Zhao Yuzhai inherited the good traditional teaching mode, how he taught students in accordance with their aptitude, highlighted personality, integrated the aesthetic into the guzheng teaching. Opened up a new way of teaching the guzheng, eventually formed his unique teaching ideas.
