The world develops by leaps and bounds beyond our mind! With CuiJian' lyrics beginning, it quitly appropriate to the back ground of this thesis.Earthshaking changes have taken place in China since the reform and opening-up in last century. Both the overall opens and the overall makes to live let the world of a riot of colour changing quickly be turned up in front of people. Facing the world's day by day change, how to develop the art of China's figural sculpture becomes a deep question which sculptors attach importance to.Traditional figural sculpture has a long history, both extensive and profound, but in the 20th century, the figural sculpture within the world comes about a fundamental change.Well, what the hell fundamental changes have taken place in China's figural sculpture? that means no longer blind faith in the authority, no longer emphasize the importance of the whole description. adopt diversified mode, pay attention to the community, humanistic care, break with the tradition, emphasize congenial. Which is divided into six categories in the text described how did these changes represented in detail. However, what age characteristics do they have? Because China is gradually strong, culture is gradually rising, so that it need art to expand age urgently, hence sculpture come out from past great, the subject, combat, the mode, which contains the traditional cultural emotion, a kind of shining realistic social realistic status. Therefore, the changes of China's figural sculpture language has a very strong contemporary which is also the textual talk point.So what is the theory basis of this kind of standpoint? In the text it is deveolp with the age to prove;secondly,prove with the substantial character; Thirdly, different angle to see the changes; Forthly, prove with the contemporary work. It isn't likely to die out, instead to be more splendid! It also underlines China's figural sculpture language changes of contemporary gender.
