With the economic and cultural development of our country, a growing number of people tend to raise their cultural level by learning violin. However, there are some problems existing in the process of learning violin playing which cannot be solved easily in a short time. More often than not, those problems are related to the physical factors of the violinists. The movements of Chinese shadow boxing are vigorous as well as gentle with expert timing control, which is a perfect training method to greaten body suppleness, muscular strength and endurance. Chinese shadow boxing theories could effectively help to solve many problems of violin playing. Based on this, the following article will elaborate the violin pedagogy from a whole new viewpoint, which is the connection between Chinese shadow boxing and violin performance, to provide a new solution to violin playing problems.
