Always being a conspicuous and marginal worker in the literature circle, X.-B. Wang has never been accepted by the orthodox Chinese literature. Nevertheless, his distinctive spiritual perspective, independent character and noteworthy qualification provided vast potential research topics of narrative strategy. He adopted a new style in narration, for which is his everlasting seek.Apart from the introduction and conclusion part, the present study mainly analyzed narrative features of X.-B. Wang's novels form aspects of form and content.Part one of the present study mainly discussed the compromising and dispersion among Wang's narration, the traditional narration, and modern narration as follows. Firstly, the construction of narration pattern provides reference to the traditional narrative of its narrative pattern. Meanwhile, the construction with his unique expression brings the breakthrough and the innovation. Secondly, the use of meta-narrative strategy exposes the narrator in the text to face the reader directly, which is opposite to the traditional narration. Thirdly, Wang reconstructed a open and complete narrative strategy by breaking the self-enclosed tradition. Besides, the selection of his exclusive expression, and some other facets were also discussed.Part two mainly expected to form a stretching force between historical narration and literature narration by analyzing Wang's "legendary narration" of Bronze Age, "Cultural Revolution narration" of Golden Age, and "future Utopia narration" of Silver Age. First, not only does Wang's "legendary narration" inherited Role.certainly odd,but also features with breakthrough and innovation, which are manifested by the material management, content's selection and construction, and art characteristics, etc. Additionally, Wang's "Cultural Revolution narration" embodied another description of the Cultural Revolution, for it reappears and even surpasses the historical scene. Furthermore, Wang constructed a future Utopia world in his "future Utopia narration". He also combined anti-Utopia with the anti-realism in his narration as well. To summarize, Wang's historical writing is a literature rewrite of history, which deconstructs"the greater self", and constructs a personal "small self" history.
