The Research On Guangling School Poet Wang Maolin

Wang Maolin, an important poet of Guangling School of Ci poetry in the early Qing Dynasty, wrote Jin Se Ci. There were 169 Ci included in Quan Qing Ci. In addition, Wang Maolin participate the activity of exchanging Ci at Autumn Water House and wrote the preface of "The Ci of famous poets in the Qing Dynasty". Nowadays, the academic research about poets of this school, only concentrated the master of this school Wang Shizhen, core poet Zou Zhimo, Peng Sunyu and important poet Wu Qi, You Tong, Song Wan, Li Yu and so on, most poets were not paid attention.The first chapter introduces a biography of Wang Maolin and his collection. Firstly, The thesis researches his born time and describes three stages of his experience. Secondly, It introduces his Ci collection and version, and pointed out the value of his Ci.The second chapter analyzes the relationship of Wang Maolin's Ci and Guangling culture. Firstly, It introduces the culture of region of rivers and lakes, the botanical garden culture and the brothel culture in Guangling. Secondly, the chapter analyzes the Guangling culture presented from Wang Maolin'Ci. Wang Maolin frequently wrote beautiful scene, food and ship in his hometown. In addition, Wang Maolin described the life of botanical garden, it provided rich material for the research of making friends and exchanging poems of Guangling poets. Finally, Wang Maolin was influenced by the brothel culture, So, his work vividly described the brothel life of Guangling.The third chapter elaborates Wang Maolin and Guangling School of Ci poetry. Firstly, Wang Maolin wrote the preface of "The Ci of famous poets in the Qing Dynasty", This was one of the most important activity of Guangling School of Ci poetry. Secondly, The paper focuses on the experience that Wang Maolin studied and followed from Wang Shizhen. Finally, It narrates the contact between Wang Maolin and other Guangling poets such as Zong Yuanding and Sun Zhiwei, and analyzes the significance of contact for Guangling School of Ci poetry.The fourth chapter makes a summary of the significance and the value of Wao Maolin'works. Firstly, as an important Guangling poet, Wang Maolin promoted the change of Ci style; Secondly, Wang Maolin contributed to idea of respecting Ci at Guangling School of Ci.
