The 1990s China was in the great transformation period.The social economic system and mechanism were all transforming,values and way of life,moral norms also in change,or in a reshape stage.The rise of modern city changed the traditional survival mode,established the new concept of time and space feeling.Traditional ethics moral and spiritual crises suffered subjugating dual challenges.Shanghai has a unique history as a city,which reflected the concentration of major economic changes in China's social and political problems encountered.Documentary files,as the embodiment of the times to record images in the form of changes to social changes brought about people's lives.Documentary Editing Room takes "track changes times and tell stories of life"for the purpose,and is the creative team from their own creation condition and the Shanghai audience characteristics to made-to-measure.It takes' "human subjects" "love story" "civilian perspective" as the characteristic,which has its own unique to express ethical change.This article attempts to reveal its point from three perspectives as follows:marriage ethics change;family ethic change;ethics change between individual and group,to discuss the ethical changes that brought by era in-depth. Consequently we will conclude that documentary has its own value orientation when record the times. A true reflection of the front is the most direct way to the ideal,but it is undeniable that there will be one-sided records,or even distorted reflection.Paper tries to restore the 1990s social context,and combines with historical reality to dig the story behind the one-sided or distorted reflection.
