Problem behaviors are commonly seen in elementary school, producing negative influence on classroom teaching. It is discovered in internship that misbehaviors of pupils in international school are more serious, leading to a bad effect on CSL classroom, which troubles CSL teachers a lot. It is an inevitable challenge for every teacher to realize misbehaviors of pupils and adopt effective coping strategies. This article used what we called "qualitative research", such as classroom observation and teacher interview, to do a deeper analysis. The author, as a Chinese teacher, participated in Summer Program of Shang Hai SMIC, collecting a series of pupils'problem behaviors and sorting up all the materials. Then, the researcher do interviews with some relating CSL teachers, which contributes a lot to the case study. It is indicated that problem pupils have experience of living in different countries. They can't fully understand themselves in their childhood. Most of problem students have high self-esteem, easy to be impulsive, which result in misbehaviors. These misbehaviors in the case include:rebelling teacher authority, causing others to concern, seeking revenge, drawing other students to his side and so on.The analysis has shown:new teachers tend to force kids to surrender by scolding, rewarding or punishing, which is a negative way proved in the case, while some positive ways, like establishing rules beforehand, communicating with students equally, giving reward or punishment properly, and getting help from others, are proved to be effective strategies. If new teachers make use of these positive strategies, they will adapt themselves more quickly to their teaching career. There are two characteristics in this article:(1) It choose misbehaviors of pupils and teachers'coping strategies in CSL classroom of an international school to be the object of study.(2) It use case study method to depict the subject, focusing on the process, adopt interactive interview and field observation, and obtain some open conclusions.
