In modern times, the camera has become a collection of creative material for artists in general tools, a large number of artists have used photography to create. Photographic image to bring convenience to the artist also had to think about the artist and contemporary photographs, the relationship between oil painting, photography, painting pictures of contemporary development of what kind of impact, and the imitation of photography what would the disadvantages caused by oil painting. From a historical perspective, beginning from the birth of photography and painting have close ties. Artists in the use of photographic images were created at the same time, worried that photography would replace the painting, however, only instead of the traditional art photography depicting natural and accurate records of current affairs, features, and did not replace painting. It forces the artist to find the areas of photography and make the artist can not follow the angle of viewing the world of photography, thereby promoting the development of Western modern art. We can see modern art in the integration of photography and painting. This fusion of Chinese oil paintings also had influenced the development of reform and opening up under the influence of Western modern art, artists began to use different methods to photographs used in the screen, creating a lot of work with local characteristics.
