| The French-born American female artist Louise Bourgeois is an important artist for us to study modern and contemporary west art.This text is guided by aesthetic sociology theory of Arnold Hauser. By studying cases of works style in different period of Joe, the text makes a further investigation and offers us a better understanding to modern and contemporary western art; it combine Chinese contemporary art and make us re-consider the value of art and the role artists played in modern society.
