Self-disclosure which was first introduced by Jourard means the process in which people disclosure their private information when they communicate with others. Appropriate self-disclosure has a positive effect on social interaction, but also plays an important role in physical and mental health. With the increasing popularity of internet, it has became a indispensable way when people communicate with each other, online self-disclosure has been paid much attention in the self-disclosure studies. The purpose of this study are as follows:1 To develop an online and realistic questionnaire of self-disclosure for college students. 2 To understand the chrematistics of online and realistic self-disclosure of Chinese college students, and to examine the differences between two context.3 To research about the relationship between online and realistic self-disclosure and loneliness.Through the statistical analysis of the data, this study gets the following conclusions:1. The online and realistic self-disclosure questionnaire for the sample of Chinese college students has good reliability and validity. The indicators of reliability and validity of this questionnaire are in line with the requirements of psychometrics.2. Generally speaking, the level of college students'online self-disclosure is a little lower than the middle level. But the level of realistic self-disclosure is higher than the middle level at emotion,character and attitude dimensions.3. As for demographic variables, there are significant gender differences in the self-disclosure of college students. At the parent-child relation, heterosociality, emotion topics and total scores of online self-disclosure, male college students were significantly higher than female students. At the study, personality, attitude topics and total scores of self-disclosure in reality, male college students were significantly lower than female students. In the professional variables, the online self-disclosure at study topic, liberal college students were significantly lower than the science students, at the attitude topic, liberal college students were significantly higher than the science students; the self-disclosure in reality at attitude topic, liberal college students were significantly higher than the science students. the self-disclosure in reality at attitude topic, only child college students were significantly higher than the not only child students.4. The relationship between self-disclosure online and in reality, at all the study, parent-child relationship, heterosociality, emotion, personality and attitude topics and the total score, self-disclosure online are significantly lower than the self-disclosure in reality.5. The self-disclosure online at all the study, parent-child relationship, heterosociality, emotion, personality and attitude topics and the total score, have significantly active relationship with loneliness. College students'online self-disclosure levels at parent-child relationship, heterosociality, emotion, personality have good predictive effects on loneliness.6. The self-disclosure in reality at personality and attitude topics, have significantly positive relationship with loneliness. College students'self-disclosure level in reality at parent-child relationship, personality topics have positive predictive effects on loneliness.
