| So far, "Cang Yuan"has become one of the representative achievements of the classical operas since it was created and performed by Liaoning Opera House in 1995.It has drawn material from an intricate story of Tuerhute people who returned from a long journey. Opera "Cang Yuan" artistically reproduced the grand historical events-Tuerhute's massive migration back to China from Russia with a shorter length. It laid the stress on the a variety of crises faced by Tuerhute and selected the pursuit of dignity and freedom as well as the deep love for their motherland as its theme. The design of its music is based on Mongolian music style throughtout the entire opera while the creation of the opera reflects the unity of various artistic forms, the combination of history and age as well as its content being in tune with its form. The patriotic theme, where the Tuerhute tribe moved eastwards to their homeland after going through innumerable hardships and obstacles, has profound practical significance in the current situation. It shows a solemn and vigorous musical world. As for the musical form(mainly vocal form), the major figures perform wonderful aria, especially the heroine Na Ren Gao-wa's,even better.This paper mainly analyzes the artistic performance of Na Ren Gao-wa. According to the plot developments, the author arranges the character Na Ren Gao-wa as follows:on her homeward journey; full of hatred; be repentanct and give her life bravely. Combining her solo and partsinging, the author specifically analyses the image of the character and her artistic achievements in the vocal aspects through vocal techniques.
